November 10, 2023 (NEW YORK, NY) —Sunday, December 17 Gotham brings you an all-day celebration of holiday dining and music. From 12-4pm Gotham’s resident band The Dal Segño Trio will play holiday jazz favorites followed by the launch of the highly anticipated Holidays album with The Ted Nash Big Band featuring singer/songwriter Kristen Lee Sergeant and a 15-piece jazz orchestra.
A Sunnyside Records release, Holidays features a songlist of nine beloved and rediscovered holiday standards newly arranged by Nash. Following four appearances at Gotham over the past year, Ms. Sergeant and Mr. Nash will ring out 2023 with this night of holiday music for the memory books.
2020 Broadway World cabaret “Best Special Event” nominee, Sergeant is hailed as an artist who “brings a unique feeling of musical exploration to her concerts” and “a stunning sound.” Multi-instrumentalist, arranger, and composer Ted Nash is well known as a bandleader and as a member and arranger for the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra.

Gotham’s resident band, The Dal Segño Trio is led by Dr. Darrell Smith on drums and features David Kingsnorth on bass and Yago Vazquez on keys. Smith is also known as the Associate Director of Jazz Education and Performance at Jazz House Kids.
